Leaf filter is one kind of filtering equipment for separating solid and luiquid. It belongs to one kind of pressure filtration equipment. It is the new generation filtration equipment that we developed referencing new technology. The filter has unique and compacted design, and high filtering efficiency. It does not consume the filter cloth, filter paper or filter cartridge, just uses a little filter aid, so the filtration cost is low. And the machine is easy to operate, maintain and clean.

The working principle is also easy. The material mixed in the mixing tank firstly, then pumped it into the leaf filter circularly to form a layer of filter cake. This process called the diatomite precoating and then begin to filtrate. Under pressure, the solid particles in the filterate will be trapped on the filter leaves, and the filter cake is formed gradually. When filtering, if need decoloration, activated carbon might be needed. If filter the dirty liquid, such as squeezed crude oil, no need adding the filter aid. And also under the pressure, the filter cake is discharged automatically. Therefore, the operation is easy. The filtering process is automatic.

Of course, manual discharging and automatic discharging are available according to customer's requirements with different actual handing capacity. The filter area ranges from 2m2 to 200m2. The housing material can be carbon steel or stainless steel to meet clients' different needs.

The leaf filter consists of filter housing, filter leaves, head lifting device and discharging device. According to the different filter materials, the filtering system can be customized. The whole filtering system conains the leaf filter, mixing tank, feeding pump, pipes, valves, control system, etc.). The leaf is made of layers of stainless steel wire screens, then installed on the central filtrate collecting tube, so it's convenient to discharge and clean.
