Quartz sand filter is a kind of pressure filter, which uses the refined quartz sand filter material filled in the filter. When the influent flows through the filter layer from top to bottom, the suspended solids and colloidal particles in the water are removed, so as to reduce the turbidity of the water.

Our Australian client is a quarrying material dealer , inquired sand filter to use for their quarry factory , mainly remove suspended solids . After discussion , due to save cost , and their water pressure is not high in working site , suggest FRP shell material , fully automatic , 50m³/h , 3 shells in parallel , DN80 inlet & outlet connection size , with inner 6600kg quartz sand filter material .

Mainly used for pre- treatment of turbidity removal, softened water, electrodialysis and reverse osmosis in water treatment, as well as surface water and groundwater. It can effectively remove suspended solids, organic matter, colloid, sediment, etc. in water.
